I purchased this photograph from Sturgis Antiques on The Avenue in Hampden, Baltimore.
When I find photographs or documents with identifying information I buy them and try to reunite them with their families.

This person is buried in Baltimore. If it isn’t him, it could be someone related. Researching the history of the area where the person lived may be helpful too. If you are still in the Baltimore area, there may be special collections at the library that reveal information that isn’t digitized as well.
I saw that grave–St Mary’s is just a couple of blocks from my house. Unless I can 100% know that the subject of a photo is a specific person, I don’t make a claim. That said, I intend to go back occasionally and do more research on some of the people.
